An LGBTQ+ Magazine for Gen-Z, by Gen-Z

For years, conservative media outlets have been ranting on and on about the 'gay agenda'. Some even believe that the LGBTQ+ community is working on some spooky, evil plot to turn the kids gay... do you honestly believe that the gays could ever be that organized?

🌈
Let's redefine the 'gay agenda'

Enter, Gaygenda magazine. While we call ourselves 'Gaygenda', we do not exclusively serve the gay community. We use ‘the gay agenda’ as a joke but that’s really just to freak out our besties at Fox News.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're from the Bi-tinerary, the Trans target, the Sapphic schedule, the Pan plan, the Ace agenda, or any other department!

We are building an inclusive LGBTQIA+ media company. The absolute best way to get more involved is to subscribe to our newsletter below. Sign up here👇

GM005 — October 2022

✅ Ty Deran is on the cover of Gaygenda's EVOLUTION issue because of how they continue to show up for the Queer community.

📢 In this issue, we decided to be ambitious. Sharing more creators and exciting projects than ever before, GM005 is a love letter to the progress being made in the world.

GM004 — June 2022

For years, conservative media outlets have been ranting on and on about the 'gay agenda'. Some even believe that the LGBTQ+ community is working on some spooky, evil plot to turn the kids gay....... do you honestly believe that the gays could ever be that organized!?

Enter, Gaygenda magazine. While we call ourselves 'Gaygenda', we do not exclusively serve the gay community. We use ‘the gay agenda’ as a joke but that’s really just to freak out our besties at Fox News.

GM003 — March 2022

It's hard to believe that we are already signing off on the first quarter of 2022. This magazine marks our third issue of Gaygenda, and our team is continuing to implement a steady stream of improvements! Ultimately, our goal with Gaygenda magazine has always been to introduce readers to inspiring creators, activists, and ideas that are making a difference for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. In GM003, we had the incredible opportunity to connect with four individuals who make the world a better place for us all, each in their own unique way. At the end of the day, we strive to put role models on the cover of Gaygenda—especially for the sake of the 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in our community. We are excited to continue to highlight and platform 2SLGBTQIA+ excellence as we dive deeper into 2022.

GM002 — December 2021

As 2021 draws to a close, it's important to pause and reflect on this year. This means acknowledging the progress that was made, the challenges that arose, and thinking critically about where we stand as a community. We witnessed several victories for the LGBTQ+ community this year — from conversion therapy bans in France and Canada, to America's release of a gender-neutral passport, to a record level of LGBTQ+ representation, and much more. Granted, 2021 was not without great threats to our community. This year was the deadliest year on record for trans people around the world. Thousands of LGBTQ+people continue to be trapped under Taliban rule in Afghanistan. We witnessed an unprecedented flurry of political attacks on trans rights and freedoms. COVID-19 continued to disproportionately impact QTBIPOC communities everywhere. Despite the incremental progress that has been made this year, it is clear that we still have a lot of work to do. Going into 2022, all of us at Gaygenda hope to see progress for the LGBTQ+ community that takes shape more equitably for those most vulnerable. This is work that requires all of us to do our part — let's make 2022 matter.

GM001 — October 2021

Welcome to the first issue of Gaygenda magazine! Gaygenda magazine is a collection of stories and news curated by a small team of queer writers and editors. Our mission is to share queer perspectives, ideas, struggles, and progress. In this first issue, we take a look at major developments and recent news in the LGBTQ+ community, and we sit down with four queer creators to hear their stories. We would love for you to send us feedback, artwork, stories, and support to keep Gaygenda moving forward.

About Our Magazine

Do you sell printed magazines?

Yes! Every 3 months we release a new printed issue of Gaygenda Magazine.

How do you decide who goes on the cover?

We look for people who are committed to showing up for the community. It is our responsibility to ensure that the people who are representing our magazine are people we consider to be role models for the community.

How is Gaygenda Magazine different from other LGBTQ magazines?

We pride ourselves on being entirely community focused. We decided to redefine what a magazine can and should look like by committing to involving our readers in every issue — and as much as possible!
