All participants are encouraged to make a donation to our Charity Partner: Rainbow Railroad. To compete for PrideHunt prizes, players must register by donation.

🤔 What is Rainbow Railroad?
Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps LGTBQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics. In a time when there are more displaced people than ever before, LGBTQI+ people are uniquely vulnerable due to systemic, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia.

🕹️ The Game Objective
Just like any other scavenger hunt, the objective of PrideHunt is to complete as many items as possible. In our case, the items are random acts of kindness, opportunities to make connections, chances to give back, among other (gay) things.
Each item is either a photo, video, or file. After you complete the item, you'll submit it through our submission form at the end of the week. Finally, we'll host an After Party to showcase the best submissions and award prizes!

💡 What is this event?
PrideHunt is a week-long international scavenger hunt fundraiser for the LGBTQIA+ community. Each item on the PrideHunt list is an opportunity to get creative, give back, and/or make connections. PrideHunt's official 2022 charity partner is Rainbow Railroad (learn more about their work.) 100% of registration ticket sales will be donated to Rainbow Railroad.
📍 Where is this event?
PrideHunt is completely virtual - from event communications, to submissions, to the closing ceremony! People can participate at any desired level: play for fun with friends, compete for prizes, or simply cheer people on from the sidelines. The bulk of the event will be hosted in Discord (join here).
📅 When is this?
PrideHunt will begin June 10th, 2022! The event runs for 9 days (inclusive), concluding on June 18th, 2022. All participants are invited to PrideHunt's After Party for a closing ceremony to PrideHunt 2022.
🌈 PrideHunt Goal:
Our stated goal is to offer an accessible way for people in the LGBTQ+ community to acknowledge and celebrate Pride from anywhere in the world. Building on this, we are also able to leverage PrideHunt as a fundraising effort.

Why are you doing this?
We wanted to create an accessible Pride event that virtually anyone could participate in. PrideHunt is a new event for us, so please share your feedback and ideas!
How do I find the item list?
We have an entire Google Drive for this event with all the details! Each week, we share newly added items with our newsletter.
What happens at the end of the hunt?
At the end of the hunt, you'll submit your items through our submission form (if you're playing for prizes). On following weekend, we'll host an After Party for PrideHunt! Here, we'll review some of the best submissions, and award prizes.

Is this free?
Yes! You can participate in all the fun with PrideHunt for free. If you'd like the chance to win prizes or want to support our Charity Partner, please make a donation and register officially.
How do I join?

What is the difference between playing 'for fun' and playing 'to win'?
Registration comes with a lot of perks (see Benefits above). When you 'play to win' you have the chance to win lots of cool prizes from LGBTQ+ and ally brands. If you're not able to make a donation to Rainbow Railroad this time, no sweat.
I want to get started right away! How do I submit items?
The event doesn't officially begin until June 10th! PrideHunt will conclude on June 18th, and we will share the item submission form at that point :)
Are there prizes?
Heck ya! Register by donation to qualify.
How old do I need to be?
We use Discord for event communications, which has an age restriction of 13+.
